Teenage Goslings

I took a walk around the Savill Garden today. The ground is finally beginning to dry out and the Summer borders, which had been roped off, were now accessible although they are only just beginning to show life. However, there are still plenty of Spring flowers to be seen (extra).

This little group of Egyptian juvenile geese were cuddled together soaking up the sun on one of the bridges crossing the stream running through the gardens. Their parents were not in sight, though there was a pair arguing with themselves and everyone else further along the bank - perhaps a sign of empty nest syndrome!
