Coltsfoot

I found this little clump of coltsfoot…growing on a little gravel patch by the side of the path. An easy blip for Wild Flower Week!!

The focus on the main flower throws the other ones out of focus but they are still recognisable as the same plant.

Seems like winter has returned today - so cold out compared to the recent sunny days. Rain arrived this afternoon - as did my new lawn mower, so that has not come out of the box yet!! Looking at the weather, forecast it may be staying there for a while.
