The rodents in the fauld

fauld (pronounced fawld) A fauld is a small enclosure or pen for livestock, especially sheep.

Here are the guinea pig trio in their fauld, grazing in the afternoon shade. It's not so hot today so I haven't had to add wet dishcloths to their enclosure for them to lie on to keep cool. Poor things with all their fur.

I'm busy with lots of work stuff today - all good things. It's been a while since I worked with dinosaurs, and I'm alarmed that T-rex has grown feathers since I last edited a dinosaur book. He looks slightly less ferocious with a feathery tail.
