Flower Saturday.

Thank you all very much for your kind Happy Birthday wishes and also stars and hearts yesterday.
Amazed I got to page three on the popular pages.

As I missed flower Friday, today’s blip is of the Calla lily which was a birthday present from granddaughter Hannah as well as some lovely lavender soap from the French Soap Company.
I am keeping it inside at the moment, but will plant it outside in Summer.

Farm shopping this morning. A dismal day but cleared up this afternoon and so have planted some sugar snap peas in the raised bed.

Some more sad news I’m afraid. Our dear friend Lou passed away on the 13th April.
He introduced us to the Leeds branch of the Yorkshire Sommeliers over 30 years ago.
We have had so many laughs and happy times together over the years. He was a proper Lancastrian, though we didn’t hold that against him!
RIP Lou. We will remember you and smile.
