Earth Day

What better way to spend Earth Day than being out in Nature. Blipper HollyYoung and I left my house at 7am for a day of sightseeing with one hike planned. It started out with some scattered rain but the rain was gone before our first stop. Yeah!

Unfortunately at our third stop a cloud had settled over the high mountain at Caesar’s Head State Park so we saw nothing except a big grayish white negative space! However, we saw blooms! Dogwood, magnolia, rhododendron and mountain laurel. And bear corn!


We met up with my BF Dee at Station Cove Falls Trail for a hike to finish up the day.

We saw so many flowers! Holly was so happy we made this trip!

Staying at the mountain house with Dee tonight. More nature scenes tomorrow!
