The weather in the mountains wasn't going to be good today so Fi and I decided to go to Castle Inn Quarry on the way home... except when we got there the road was closed. The BMC advice was to park by the Nature Reserve and walk over to the crag and these cowslips, along with lots more, were beside the path.

We didn't stay long in the end as the rain caught up with us, so we continued home. Fi and I had a conversation about strimmers in the car, as you do, because I need to get one and, as luck would have it, her dad was about to post one on Facebook for sale. He lives near to Fi and I viewed and paid for the strimmer before dropping Fi off.
