Retirement

It's my brother-in-law Paul's 62nd birthday today and he retired after 45 years with the same employer on Friday.

My sister arranged a surprise party at Penarth Yacht club and the main photo' shows the cake my sister had made by a cake maker, after we'd had our meal. Paul is holding the sparkling cake watched by Mrs BB (L) my brother (R) and cousin John next to Paul.

The extra shows Paul, John, and my brother posing watched on my family friend Joan and my brother's partner. (Joan was a lodger that my parents had some 65 years ago that is still a family friend)

We stopped off at our friends in Newport late afternoon for a catch up before getting home this evening.
