Planting

It’s been a busy day back here. Euan came in early having been asleep when we arrived late in Oxford, and we had some fun catch up time before getting up for breakfast.  One of his favourite songs is Nick Cope’s ‘I’m a little lizard sitting on a rock’ and I had blipped a lizard doing exactly that.  If you have young grandchildren, great grandchildren then do Google Nick Cope or find him on CBeebies.  His songs are wonderful.

When we were finally all up and breakfasted, Euan and Mummy Becky and us walked down in to the city for him to have a haircut in the covered market.  Daddy took on the weekly shop. Euan is being encouraged to walk more and the promise of smarties if he could reach the roundabout was a good incentive.

The barbers were very good with him and we were soon off for cuppas before catching the bus back in time for lunch.  Then it was out in to the garden for the afternoon with Daddy Rob fixing the bike hooks in the shed and assembling the new lawn mower, whilst Becky planted her veg. boxes and Grandad and Euan planted veg and flower seeds, also putting out the sunflowers along the sheltered wall.  My blip is of them planting broad bean seeds, both concentrating full on.

After tidying away it was time for games before dinner.
