Tadworth Court

This is the view from the unit that Rafi is staying in. What a wonderful place it is! So spacious and such beautiful grounds. I was hoping the rain might let up just for a moment so that I could get outside and take a better shot... but no, it piddled down the entire afternoon.

Lovely to see Rafi doing so well. He was not feeling too happy, unfortunately. We heard him before we saw him - he was in the middle of a therapy session and was rather voiciferous about it all. It has given me some ideas about the kind of language I can use when talking to awkward clients though!!

I'm certain that once he gets used to it there, he will feel less stressed and improve greatly. The staff seem very lovely and we met another lad who has been there for a couple of months. He took rather a shine to Pete and decided that he wanted to come home with us... quite funny and sweet. Fortunately a couple of nurses intervened and prevented him from following us out.

We are looking forward to being able to see Rafi and his family a lot more, now that they are only short drive away.
