Fragrant Snowball

This  is the fragrant snowball  (Viburnum x carlcephalum) which is just coming  into flower in my garden. It forms quite a large shrub but produces lots of these deliciously scented globes of pink tinged white flowers.

Martin spent the day at the  Bluebell Line Heritage Railway while I had a pleasant day tidying up my garden, accompanied by the tortoise,  who helped by eating the  sow thistles and dandelions! (see extra).Later,  I visited my Mum, who was happy to see me.
