Urmel - A Happy Donkey

I think a little donkey therapy really helps on Mondays.

Urmel is also the donkey in the extra.

I got to brush him today - he's losing his winter coat but it is very coarse and obviously itches.  Pretty much as soon as I had him looking nicely groomed, this is what he did - a nice roll around the field.

The donkeys were all in the field above where they normally are and we put halters on them and walked them down to the stable.  I got to walk with Emil because he's the slowest and has to be the first.  It was so nice to see people smiling just because they saw donkeys out for a walk.

We met a neighbour of ours and she looked totally surprised to see me out leading a donkey.  

A bit of joy on a Monday.
