Freedom for the Chucks

The chucks are free! My friend’s chickens have been locked up for months due to avian flu restrictions and this week they are now free to roam the garden again.

The chickens were as happy to be in the garden in sunshine as the humans were today! We celebrated my friend’s new patio with a party.

Determined to feel like spring is here I put on a flowery tunic albeit with leggings underneath, a little jumper on top and finally a loose silky scarf and denim jacket. The layers came off for a brief while, until the sun dipped and I had to wrap up!

A lovely get together, great company, yummy food and a little bit of sunshine at least. Hopefully more sunny days to come, tomorrow is forecast heavy rain.
