Gone…,

The old immersion heater is gone. The work on installing a new boiler has begun. But this cupboard will remain mine! Even if no longer an airing cupboard, it’s mine, ok!

Lots of phone calls this morning re Iris’s passport delivery. The delivery company have a very deceiving ‘first line’ message; you think you’re actually talking to a real person.. can hear typing of the details they ask for, until ‘they’ say “Let me put you through to someone who can help.” So infuriating.

Later. I met with Big Sis for a walk and a talk. We got so far and then had to take shelter in Costa because the heavens opened. They’re still open.
