Wet Hemp

A very wet Surrey today - but only what we were expecting. On occasions even the heaviest rain can be pleasant, very... picturesque. It's the cold that's not nice.

During the storms today I was parked up after a call just off the Hogs Back and when I looked out of the window I saw I was parked next to these converted barns stained a beautiful black colour with, and O have no idea why, a layer of hemp around the bottom. And today it was soaking up the puddles.

Sun broke through beautifully at around 9 - the swirling mass of cloud that was the epicentre of this low pressure zone that covered us today finally ran out of energy and dispersed its cloud layer sending breaking clouds in all directions and producing the most spectacular of sunsets that changed every moment.

Great, unless you are standing in the cold while collecting a beautiful old Saab with no jacket. ;)
