Make a splash

We are working towards our Make a splash badge at Brownies so lots of exciting activities to do. We started by thinking about water and where it comes from and where it can be found. We did have some funny answers and if course toilets were mentioned with lots of laughter. Eventually got to where I was aiming for with the sea, rivers, ponds and lochs mentioned. We discussed which animals might be found in each, including a discussion about Nessie and mermaids. The girls then made their own mini water world. This one shows the sea with some amazing creatures :)
Richard came over in the afternoon and stayed for dinner. He’s running the Inverness 10k in a few weeks and has been training, his legs were aching as he ran a 10k yesterday for the first time :)
