Gadderin Bruck at Aithsvoe

Woke up to snow this morning, thankfully not lying. Light winds to calm this evening.  Mostly sunny all day, but there has been passing wintery showers.  A beautiful sunny evening, cold though!

Day off and up early.  Popped by Madeline's for a cuppa, then into Lerwick, also another cuppa in Fjara.  An afternoon dodging showers in the garden, trying to get rid of a terrible bully plant.  Walkies with Sammy before tea.  Nipped down to mam's, where Laura and Elise are staying will they are away, more tea.  More walkies with Sammy, now feet up.

Me and Laura decided to crack on with our own Voar Redd Up this evening, Elise even took a break from her studying to lend a hand.  We didn't cover a huge area, but managed to fill six bags of bruck (rubbish), and a few larger pieces.  Mostly marine waste gathered.  We've not changed the world, but we've made a huge difference to the small area we covered.  Me and Laura at the head of Aithsvoe, Cunningsburgh.
