Random Green Bags

Still breezy and cold, but mostly a sunny day.  Reports of snow up north.  Flat calm tonight, temperatures may plummet further with the clear skies.

A morning at home, before heading for a late shift in the airport. I've mostly been working on the check-in desk all day, and all flights on time.  A quiet evening at home, some walkies with Sammy too.

Tis the season for random green bags dotted around Shetland, and some visitors must wonder what's going on.  Last weekend saw our annual shore and road clean, Da Voar Redd Up.  While marine litter may travel a distance to land on our shores, sadly we do have a huge problem locally, that need to chuck bruck out the car windows!  Great efforts are made by all ages to pick the litter, then it's collected at a later date.  I'll need to get out and do my bit too.  Taken at Grutness Voe, Sumburgh.
