Bluebells

Back to cooler weather today, but still decided on a shorter walk through the bluebell woods.
Unfortunately they were only just beginning to flower. I think another week before they will be at their best.
Still a lovely walk. Very peaceful. Just the song of the birds. That is until we came across two ladies with 12 dogs between them. Fortunately all on leads except two. Presumably dog walkers. Luckily they were going in a different direction.

A huge beech tree had been uprooted, blocking the path down to the stream. ( see extra) Fortunately there was an alternative path nearby.
The garlic was also starting to flower which seemed early as this usually follows the bluebells.

We walked through a field full of sheep. The lambs have certainly grown in the last few weeks. Liked the two little black lambs. ( see extra)
We also passed some bullocks in another field. Fortunately all sat down at the far end and didn’t take any notice of us walking by.

Heard on the news that they are having a a heatwave in Spain. Certainly not that here!
