First run for 16 days went better than I could have hoped. A productive morning negotiating car insurance premiums, booking a car service, contacting replacement window installers and completing one of my online signalman’s competency assessments.

We walked this afternoon, in the gathering gloom getting home just before the rain began in earnest. Plenty of lovely wild flowers coming through for their moment of glory.

This evening was the first meeting of all the plot holders of the Allotment Association of which I am now chairman. Good turnout, good discussion and plenty of ideas and suggestions for actions and activities for the next twelve months
