Elizabeth line to Heathrow

This picture was taken on our final morning in the UK as we travelled to Heathrow for the flight home to Sweden. For the first time we used the Elizabeth line and were impressed by the step free access, large airy stations and the rather snazzy purple used for many things on the line.
The picture is also also a goodbye to the fresh green of spring growth, which we have enjoyed so much in England's April landscape.
Tomorrow in Sweden it will still be spring but a snowy spring (See tomorrow's blip). The buds and leaves will appear but we'll have a while to wait yet.  On the benefits side, we will get another chance to see daffodils and crocus blooming.
So, goodbye UK. We had a good couple of weeks enjoying meeting and getting up-to-date with family and friends in southern and eastern England. However, now it feels right to be headed home.
