One that got away

A lovely walk around Lindisfarne today. Many of the beach areas were completely deserted and so peaceful. On this beach a lobster pot that has got away sat stranded up the beach. Lots of sea birds which were not keen to feature on any of my pictures but the flowers were a bit easier! The Thrift is everywhere and some lovely little Violets looked so pretty.in the dune areas. We spotted a couple of seals and managed to go to St Cutherberts Isle before the tide turned.
