Rhododendrons

Today's the day ..................... to inherit

Our garden is full of rhododendrons and azaleas, which do rather well in the soil here.  

We didn't plant any of them - they were all here when we moved over four years ago now.  Somehow that makes them all the more special because every year, it's as if we've been given them as a gift all over again.  And whoever planted them originally, knew what they doing.  They come into flower one after the other in a magnificent display that continuously changes colour and shape.

This one is always the first to open - the palest pinky-white ................
