Cumstoun Bridge

Today's the day ......................... for a watercolour

Will and I walked together out to Cumstoun Bridge this afternoon - and then, when he got his watercolours out to paint one of his favourite views, I left him there and returned home by myself.

It's a view that changes all the time, depending on the state of the tides and how much rain has fallen upstream in the valley of the River Tarff. Today, the tide was in and the water-level was high, so the reed beds were submerged in places.  There's a wider view in extras.
