Blipping Forty

Heaven on Earth

The weather today was what we've been waiting for weeks and so we headed out on our bikes for a final whirl before we head back to work. After a fantastic time at the coast we had a change of scene and a jaunt round some of the most idyllic northumbrian countryside. In every direction for a forty mile round trip we could see field after fertile field with every colour of green in the artist palette and could count the number of cars we saw on two hands it was so quiet even on a bank holiday weekend. En route we passed this wee church perched on a hill, St Aidan's at Thockrington. The most peaceful spot to reflect & feel truly grateful for the multitude of good things in life.

Finally caught up with the backblips from this week if you have time to take a wee peak. I will catch up with viewing and commenting in the next few days. Hope the sun is shining with you this weekend
