SY Gondola, Coniston Water

A drive into the lakes as the weather was set fair.  First stop Brown Howe at the southern end of Coniston Water.  Quite misty and very pastel colours.  I liked it when the SY Gondola came into view.

While we were here taking photographs, we got talking to a family from Yorkshire who were here for the weekend.  She wanted to learn about photography and following a briefing (!) from Santana I think she is going to buy a new camera rather than rely on her phone.

From here to Brantwood for lunch and then home stopping off at the jetty (see extra) and Ice-cream shop in Greenodd.  Well you have to!
