Good News

There is so much bad news in the world today I thought I’d try to blip some  good news. 

It’s 80 degrees and sunny and everyone that has a paddle board or a blow up kayak is on the lake today I think.   Walked along the lake mid day looking at so many…(couple in the extras)   

Last week Washington became the 10th state to ban assault rifles.     Abortion is still legal in this state.    Wish it was all National!

The BEST (family) news is that dil Anne still has her job in Web Services after Amazon announced a month ago about the thousands of layoffs that would take place in cloud services and HR.     Whew.   Her Medical insurance is safe for now.  Her Ca drugs are hopelessly expensive.  Very nerve racking for her team of mostly younger people who didn’t know if they’d have a job in May when they are required to go back to the real office 3 days a week.    (do they need child care or not?   They’ve still been working at home. )

A day with no schedule…always good news.
