The camassias are starting to emerge.  Initially planted as a bit of an experiment, they have been particularly successful in the garden and last year we split up some of the clumps and bought some more, white ones.  

We've planted a number in the shadier areas where we hope they will flower for longer than they do on the sunny bank.

Meanwhile, in less photogenic scenes, the basement work continues and I start stripping the peeling varnish off the table that's clogging up the workshop.
