Another spring marker

This is another of the pictures I take nearly every spring, marking the boundary between the snowy spring and the spring when plant-life bursts out.
This is Daphne mezereum. To quote Wikipedia "commonly known as mezereum, mezereon, February daphne, spurge laurel or spurge olive". Whatever you call it, it's a tough plant. Three weeks ago you could see the flower buds on the stems sticking out of the snow. Now it's in full bloom, with the lawn still under snow.
Today we spent a lot of the day working with the camper van, and it is now ready for it's first trip of 2023. I finished off my outside day with clearing about half the deck of the snow still lying 40cm deep.
