New tent

I sometimes wonder why we have a house...outside is definitely our happy place!

Today we woke early. It rained heavily all night (it seemed like all night antway) and so I didn't sleep quite as well as I had done. But we got up at about 8.30 and by 10 we were packed up and heading home. Lots of people were leaving today because we have to be off the site by 12. So we joined the queue and qere home by 11.

It was lovely and sunny all afternoon so we had coffee in the French Quarter, followed by some sorting out. Then lunch back in the FQ when Mollie and Henry came in. They had been to Fakenham with Josh for the morning.

I did a bit of weeding and levelled off in the garden where I want to plant some salad veg. Then planted the raspberry canes I had brought back from the allotment ages ago, while Jon and Henry put up the tent Jon bought to replace his tepee. It had leaked last year when we went to the Highland Show, and as we will be back there this June, he needed something suitable to replace it. It looks like it will suit the purpose, and sleep two of us, with space for our kit. We will sleep on camp beds!

Cooked sesame salmon and broccoli for dinner and now we are watching Pitch Perfect. Mollie's absolute favourite film and one we love too.

Back to work tomorrow:-(
