Premier mai

The tradition here on May 1st is to exchange small bouquets of lily of the valley with friends, for good luck. Stands selling it spring up all over the city. I got some from this stand in Place de Barcelone.

Went for a run this morning and J rode 50km on his bike. We had a nice apéro near Saint-Sulpice and then I went to see the film "Jeanne Dielman, 23 Quai du Commerce, Bruxelles" at the Reflets Médecis. It has been re-released in a restored copy so I thought I should take advantage to see it in a theatre - I'm very glad I did.
