The gander

The darn goose ran the osprey off the nest again after they had done a nice job repairing the winter damage. The osprey had even used some of the Ukraine flag sticks I put out for them. Now the gander has taken up residence on the pier chasing any thing or one who gets to close. I'm starting to dislike the  goose and her gander! I have no idea where our pair of osprey are now.
It will take a week or more for us to dry out. The island is under water. Might be July before some of the fields get cut. I had to have knee boots to get around the yard and garden. My cold frame did very well on it's own for the past 2 weeks. I think I will make a trip to the greenhouse tomorrow!
