Holiday memories part two

I took my two offspring on a wee holiday to Gairloch several years ago. We stayed in a wooden ‘wigwam’ (previously pictured) which was very comfy and bug free. Unfortunately, this being the west highlands of Scotland in the summer, as soon as you stepped outside you were assailed by tiny mosquito type insects called midges. They are so unrelenting and itchy that they can drive you mad. Luckily we had also discovered citronella oil and after duly plastering ourselves with the stuff, were able to enjoy a convivial evening with our neigbours.
