The Border Hotel PW#14

Today Mr P walked  25km, from that place in the middle of nowhere I picked them up from yesterday ( extra) , to Kirk Yetholm and into the Border Hotel; the official end of the Pennine Way. In total he has walked  265 miles  over the 14 days. At the pub he was treated to a free half of beer, a certificate and he had to sign the book.  One of my extras is the unusual sight on the route back down that 7 miles of pitted track. (It does not work needless to say)  I then spent the day exploring Kelso.
We dropped R back at Byrness to pick up his car. and then we continued to Cumbria, total drive home of just short of 3 hours and roughly equivalent to the second half of Mr P's walk, ie about a week of walking.
Well done Mr P. He says that's the longest walk he's going to attempt. What next I wonder
