What’s going on?

I get out into the garden eventually. The broad beans and peas need to go out, which means the legume bed needs prepared. After the hassle of plastic netting and bamboo canes of last year, I opt for an old Acme tradition - fence posts and stock fencing (extra).

At lunch the cockerel is interested in what’s going on in the house. Both the hens are feeling broody. There’s one egg between them to sit on and neither of them are laying. It should be over soon.

At tea time I head over to Kerry’s with the rest of the Ethiopian curry. She has some naan and we cook up some rice.
