Fungi

There was a new tractor on the field today. Our old farmer has retired. A new farmer has contracted to farm the field. He is the son of the owners of the giant farm that abuts our property. He will be growing soy in the summer and wheat in the winter. He said he grew up playing in our woods and that he spent many hours in our house playing with his friend who lived here. 
My photo is of some fungi on a tree stump that is the remnant of a legendary story of an epic tree take-down gone bad that the new farmer told me about.
This is the result of a stupidly massive focus stack.
