Lots of bunting…

Today we went to a nice pub near Chalfont St Peter to meet friends for lunch as it was my husbands birthday. This is the High Street which had the best display of flags I have seen anywhere so far. As well as Union Jacks there were special Charles III flags which I have not seen before.

The lunch was delicious…it’s an independent gastro pub set up by Terry Wogans daughter. The set menu is extremely good value..it only has three choices for each course but that is fine and enough choice for all diets. I had a sophisticated version of ham,egg and chips…see  extra…the egg was so well cooked…runny yoke and sitting on the ham. The chips are out of shot in a separate bowl.

An accident on the M25 meant we did a detour round Heathrow on the at home and saw various parts of Feltham we have never visited before! 

So nice to have sun today, but it was chilly as very windy out of the sun.
