Tain Peony

When we viewed this house in June 2022, one thing that struck us in the garden was the really lovely peony that was just coming into bloom. It's died back completely over the winter, and now is going great guns on its way back. Looking forward to seeing what it produces. We've already given it a bit more growing room than it had last year.

Great to be in the north again only 5 days later. We were always coming this weekend, to escape the nonsense of which we shall not speak, so it was last weekend with the van that was the bonus. We brought (most of) the rest of the plants up in the car today. There's just a few remnants on the balcony.

Now we have a lot of plants adorning the garden, and they need watering and planting out. We walked down to the Links after dinner, and back via the supermarket where I procured a very cheap watering can just to do the necessaries for a while before we get sorted out with a hose. Anyway, there should be a good amount of time for some gardening over the weekend.

It is so quiet here. It is truly lovely.
