Taking steps and talking plants

Not a bad day today - quite a bit of sunshine and the wind had mostly dropped, so I spent the morning outside potting and sorting plants.

I'm having some timber steps made to replace the awkward 'kerbstone' steps up from the road, and the timber was delivered this morning. Work begins on Monday morning, so I'm looking forward to this being done.

After lunch I went to see my friend who runs a small nursery near Bonawe, so we spent a pleasant hour or so talking plants and meeting another old friend, who also used to run a nursery, though a wholesale one.

Took my extra coming away from the nursery - a nice bit of gorse with a background of hills and dark sky. The Bonawe quarry can be seen on the right.
