In freedom a visit to Amsterdam

Today we celebrate the fact that we as Dutch live in freedom for 78 years today. So part of my blip is dedicated to freedom day.

My brother and I went to Amsterdam, to the Rijksmuseum. To see the exhibition of the Vermeer paintings. A unique exhibition. In it were 27 paintings (of the 37 that have been attributed to him). From all over the world. Beautiful to see them. Unfortunately my inside photos are all rubbish, so here's a photo of the museum. At least I got to see them. That's worth more than photos. I'm so glad I had the chance to go.
