A day to remember

I walked up to the shops and bought a new hand blender (old blender photographed had broken) and some flannelette sheets. That’s something to remember. There was no sign of the big event overseas or comment from anyone. Unfortunately I was exhausted when I got home, due to my cold, so am now going to have an early night and start a new book — see in the lower picture.

I’m not a monarchist but have the TV on in the background because it is an historic event even if I can’t agree with all the pomp and expense. If you’re into that sort of thing I hope you enjoy it. I’m enjoying looking at the nice horses myself, they are so well trained and beautifully presented. It’s a shame the day doesn’t look too good for all those out in the streets.
