A Golden Snail

It has been a hectic day..all the family came to visit…son, daughter, son-in-law and the grandchildren…the TV was on (fairly quiet) all day so we could keep an eye on the proceedings in London! Eldest granddaughter is fascinated by the Royal Family and loved all the pageantry.

I cooked lunch on the barbecue and the sun came out so it was warm enough to be outside.

I found this fabulous snail on a log..a match for all that gold on display for the coronation.

Rain started just as folk were leaving around 4 p.m. - so it has worked out well for us today.
