Pine Flowers

Childminding duties today, so after parting with £120 (eeek!) to fill the car up with diesel…at £1.80 a litre…we set off for Doncaster. We collected youngest from school and took her to Brodsworth Hall (an English Heritage property) for exercise! I spotted these flowers on a pine tree in the playground… trying to ID them has revealed a few possibilities, Pitch Pine is one!
I did find a few fungi as well…they get everywhere you know, and I got chatting to a chap who was doing a fungi survey on site for EH. We also found tadpoles and loads of spring flowers
