The Japanese Garden, Cowden

We decided to spend today at The Japanese Garden at Cowden, near Dollar, Clackmannanshire. It is the second time I have been, the first being during lockdown when there were many restrictions. We arrived soon after 11, had coffee and scones with jam and cream then had a wander. At 12.30 we joined a tour of the garden with guide Colin. He was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Another visit to the cafe for pea and mint soup then another wander. The weather was very kind with only a couple of drops of rain and I loved watching the pair of little grebe in the pond. Colin told us that all six babies were predated by mink last year, I hope the same does not occur this year.
