Coltsfoot seed head

We had a Sunday morning walk at Mugdock Country Park this morning, having not been for a while. I didn’t bother taking my camera as there have not been many birds to see recently, that was a big mistake!!!
Straight away we saw a Great Spotted Woodpecker on a nearby tree, we also had one in the garden this morning, only the second time I have seen one here in 23 years, no photos of either of course. Good blips would also have been possible with : a starling clearing bedding from a nest in a tree trunk, a cuckoo, swallows in the air and on a wire fence, many other birds too and a nice rabbit munching on the nice long grass as they are doing ‘No Mow May’. Ho, hum, lesson learned!
There were lots of nice wildflowers however so my blip is of a coltsfoot seed head looking a bit unruly. Thanks to Miranda1008 for hosting Wildflower Week.
