Oxlip, or Great Cowslip

Was photographing cowslips, which are plentiful, in the woods this morning, when I came across this one. It just looks slightly bigger.
Further on we heard a rustling in the undergrowth and out popped a red squirrel and ran up a tree. I love to see a red one.
On the way home I stopped at Pathhead nursery for compost, Brussels sprout plants and tomato plants. Gary will pick up the compost for me on Monday. The nursery used to have several Eastern European workers who stayed in caravans on site. They were invaluable in the summer months when they are so busy, and of course could do all the heavy lifting. But Brexit put paid to that.
Suzy, Hannah and Maggie visited in the afternoon, so Geordie is nicely exhausted now.
