Broome

If you hop on a plane in Sydney (after they have towed it to the gate once they moved the A380 which was blocking in and having Capt. Biggles come and individually apologise for the delay), 5 and a bit hours later you arrive here.  Where is here you may ask.  Why it is Broome.  Warm (33C) not too crowded before the masses arrive and our destination for a few days before we head a little bit further north.

The pier you can see is the Port and behind that, Roebuck bay.  We are staying at Cable beach which is the bit on the mid left.   The racetrack you can see (bottom left) is at Gantheaume Point where we were this afternoon looking for dinasaur tracks.  Not easy to find them I will just say.

I didn't get my camera out at all as we did some food shopping and then rushed back to watch the coronation on the tv.
