Orchis mascula

I walked the butterfly transect this afternoon, not very large numbers around but a few Holly Blues and Green-veined whites, the rest were mainly orange tips and brimstones. Took another look at one of the early purple orchid (Orchis mascula) colonies but forgot to photograph the white ones - maybe tomorrow.
