When life gives you lemons...

I am a widow... for almost 2 months now.
Eventually, so I'm told, it will feel normal.
I am busy sorting out my old life
and organizing my new life.
Some things have had to be disposed of.....
clothing, shoes, books....
Some things need to be stored....
photos, keepsakes...
I can't look at my old life every day and feel happy.
So, there are changes to be made, paint to be applied, doors to replace.....
I don't have a lot of energy to spare.
Some days I just want to sit and stare.
Some days I do feel lighthearted, almost carefree.
But I know that life will never be the same.
