Helena Handbasket

I'm visiting my mum, and while here I went for a walk with an old friend from primary school days. The friend has returned to the neighbourhood to look after her own mum, who is not as independent as mine. My friend is a lovely gentle soul and it's always good to take a gentle amble and chew the fat with her. Today we discovered this wonderful modern conversion of a presumably Victorian building of Anglican heritage. I wish I had managed a slightly more oblique angle for this shot.
Slowly my body is recovering from all the carrying and stair-climbing I put it through over the past couple of days. A soak in a hot bath has helped.
