It?s Rubbish

I know it's rubbish, not a very pretty image is it.

On my way down to the pub for our usual Friday night, and George was going to make it for the first time in about 6 weeks Yeah! He didn't have far to go, a mere 25 yards across the road but out he did indeed make. On my way along London St I came across the sight which now assails you. This is how the occupants of the majority of New Town properties deal with their rubbish. It seems so 19th century and apparently the reason that this is method is that fact that as the New Town is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site which limits what sort of street furniture can be located in the street. Never mind that all these parked horseless carriages are not in keeping with the Georgian architecture the fact is that communal bins can't be used because the ascetic trumps health and safety. The answer simple redesign the communal bins to look like Cheslea Tractors. Sorted.... Next....

(It has to be said that when I walked back after midnight all the bags had gone so the refuse folks must have passed, but that not really the point)
